License Information

The S/4 HANA Connector is the integration content written using standard iDocs. The connector, which assumes a SAP PO (Process Orchestration) 7.5 single stack server in the application stack and can connect to S/4 HANA with or without SAP CAR or POSDM.

When licensed in the perpetual mode, S/4 HANA Integration Content (Perpetual License) can be used till perpetuity and need not be renewed monthly or annually. However to continue receiving upgrades and patches, it is mandatory to license S/4 HANA Integration Content Software Assurance.

The Software Assurance licenses are mandatory for the first year.

One (1) S/4 HANA Integration Content (Perpetual License) is required per PI instance.

From the second year onwards the retailer has the option NOT to license the Annual Upgrade licenses. Later, should the retailer decide to opt in for Annual Upgrade Licenses, the retailer will have to pay the Annual Upgrade Licenses from retrospective effect + Annual Upgrade Licenses for the current year.

The Software Assurance cycle will be determined by the first purchase. The Software Assurance cycle of all subsequent purchase will be regularized to match the Software Assurance cycle of the first purchase.
