License Information

iVend Store maintains the store database and allows the Store Manager Console User to conduct their day to day back office transactions which include inventory management, receiving of goods, requesting stock transfers, raising purchase orders, stock counting, managing till and cash operations, generating different reports, managing user rights, etc.

iVend Store maintains the master data (replicated from the Head Office) for the in-store point of sales to perform their business functions. iVend Store also stores the transactional data generated at the store to be replicated to the Head Office.

iVend Store also maintains the replication engine which replicates master data and transactional data between the Head Office and Stores

iVend Store licenses are mandatory for creation of a general (non-retail) warehouses in iVend Retail installations where iVend Retail is NOT integrated to any of the ERP or accounting applications.

iVend Store is licensed for every retail store or a warehouse location in a retail environment.

When licensed in the perpetual mode, iVend Store (Perpetual License) licenses can be used till perpetuity. Software Assurance must be purchased for the first year. After the expiration of Software Assurance, Licensee may renew the Software Assurance on the terms and conditions then applicable.

However to continue receiving upgrades and patches, it is mandatory to license iVend Store (Perpetual License) Software Assurance.

When licensed for the first time, iVend Store license includes ONLY one (1) Store Manager Console User CAL license.

The Software Assurance is mandatory for the first year.

From the second year onwards the retailer has the option NOT to license Software Assurance. Later, should the retailer decide to opt in for Software Assurance, the retailer will have to pay for the Software Assurance from retrospective effect + Software Assurance for the current year.

Software Assurance for iVend Store has to be renewed along with the SA for Store Manager Console User CAL license. SA for iVend Store cannot be renewed or discontinued in isolation.

The SA (Software Assurance) cycle will be determined by the first purchase. The SA cycle of all subsequent purchase will be regularized to match the SA cycle of the first purchase.
