Software Assurance allows for continuous maintenance of Additional iMatrix Users (5) for HANA (Perpetual License). It provides access to all upgrades and product enhancements during the SA (Software Assurance) period. It also provides resolution of product defects (if any).

Software Assurance for Additional iMatrix Users (5) for HANA (Perpetual License) allows the retailer to receive all upgrades and product enhancements during the SA (Software Assurance) period. Software Assurance licenses are mandatory for the first year.

From the second year onwards the retailer has the option NOT to license the Software Assurance. Later, should the retailer decide to opt in for Software Assurance, the retailer will have to pay the Software Assurance from retrospective effect + Software Assurance for the current year.

The SA (Software Assurance) cycle will be determined by the first purchase. The SA cycle of all subsequent purchase will be regularized to match the SA cycle of the first purchase.
