iVend Mobile POS is a POS on a mobile device. It runs on iPhone, iPod Touch, iPads (iOS 7 and above) and select models of Android Phones (4” to 6”) and Android Tablets (7”, 8”, 10”), (Android version 4 and above). iVend Mobile POS can either connect to the store server over a Wi-Fi connection or to iVend Enterprise over a 3G/4G/LTE connection.

iVend Mobile, enables the creation and completion of transactions from virtually anywhere — in-store, sidewalk, street or mobile (pop-up) stores, retail expos, etc.

When licensed in the perpetual mode, iVend Mobile POS (Perpetual License) licenses can be used till perpetuity. Software Assurance must be purchased for the first year. After the expiration of Software Assurance, Licensee may renew the Software Assurance on the terms and conditions then applicable.

However to continue receiving upgrades and patches, it is mandatory to license iVend Mobile POS (Perpetual License) Software Assurance.

The Software Assurance licenses are mandatory for the first year.

From the second year onwards the retailer has the option NOT to license Software Assurance. Later, should the retailer decide to opt in for Software Assurance, the retailer will have to pay the Software Assurance from retrospective effect + Software Assurance for the current year.

The SA (Software Assurance) cycle will be determined by the first purchase. The SA cycle of all subsequent purchase will be regularized to match the SA cycle of the first purchase.

Starting iVend 6.4 R2, iVend Terminal & Mobile POS licenses can be used interchangeably.
